It’s been a busy year for NationCHAT but we have plenty planned for the upcoming year being in a position with a strong team and plentiful resources we hope to push the limits further.

We’re excited to announce that NationCHAT ‘Public Channel Stats for all’ are now available for some of our chat channels!

The ‘Public Channel Stats’ are generated by us through pisg – Perl IRC Statistics Generator and re-generated as often as possible.

Since this service is free of charge, the intervals are usually between 60 and 90 minutes depending on the amount of the stats to be calculated.

IRPG is NOT dead, long live IRPG!

Idling in channels is one of the fundamental aspects of IRC, and years ago someone thought to make a game of it.

This game is called IdleRPG and you can now play it on NationCHAT IRC Network.

The Idle RPG is a simple IRC-based role playing game where you play by idling in an irc channel. The longer you idle, the higher you progress. Things like talking in the channel, parting the channel, or quitting IRC are called penalties and increase your time to level. Along

The Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT) is an alliance of international law enforcement agencies and private sector partners working together to combat online child sexual abuse.

Specifically, the VGT comprises the Australian Federal Police as Chair, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre in the UK, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the US Department of Homeland Security, INTERPOL, the Italian Postal and Communication Police Service, the Ministry of Interior for the United Arab Emirates, the New Zealand Police and Europol.

www.NationCHAT.Org – The place where fun begins!

Who thought we would last this long? Many predicted we wouldnt last a month let alone a year. Just as many, even some of those same people, tried their hardest to end what we had created. Despite all the bullshit, attacks and hacks we managed to survive.

June 30th marks the two year anniversary of the first public release of NationCHAT Network. Since then, many bugs have been fixed and a few new features added.

The most important change to the project is

Regretfully, after being with NationCHAT for almost 2 years, the server SanDiego.NationCHAT.Org hosted by TNT Radio Network, has delinked from the network. The admins of this server were well-known in the NationCHAT IRC Network and their presence will be missed.

We would like to take this opportunity to send our appreciation to Florian and thank him for being part of our community.

We wish you all the best, getting things sorted out and hope to see you back in the not-to-distant future!
